La Borgata Italian Deli
Located in historic downtown Vacaville, you will find a wonderful family-owned Italian deli named La Borgata (which means "a township" in Italian). Owned by Marianna Iuliano Schiavone and operated by her family and self, La Borgata specializes in delicious hand-made sandwiches and salads featuring all fresh local and imported ingredients. After publishing her own cookbook, "La Bella Molisana", Marianna set her heart on opening her very own deli. In 2010 that dream became a reality. The family also owns a private winery which shares it's name "La Borgata". The family wines are available at the deli to purchase.
