Pickleball 101

Whether you’re new to pickleball or just need a refresher, here are five simple rules to get you on the court and playing in no time.

1) Choose who serves (singles or doubles)

2) Serve underhand across court (serve & return must bounce once)

3) No volleys in the kitchen (7-foot zone near the net where players cannot hit the ball unless it bounces first)

4) Points are only won by serving team

5) First to 11 points wins (win by 2)
